This advertisement will appear in the Trade Press during May and June, 1945 NOTICE TO RETAILERS THE NEW RATION BOOKS The new ration book will come into use on 22nd July, 1945, the first day of week No. 1 and ration period No. 1 of the new rationing year. Except for Milk, for which no change of retailer is allowed, there will be complete re-registration. You may accept registrations or re-registrations as from May 28th. WHAT THE RETAILER HAS TO DO See that the holder has filled up the space on page 8 of the ration book and has written your name and address in the proper space on page 6.
