Two of a kind. Road Safety No 42

1 Jan 1946

Road Safety No. 42 True Stories No. 3 (8 × 31/4) TRUE STORIES (taken from road accident records) No. 3 TWO OF A KIND This head-on smash had fatal results. Both parties were in the wrong, of course—for Paragraph 22 of the Highway Code says " Keep well to the left unless you are about to overtake or turn right ". All the rules of the road are set down, as plain as a pikestaff, in the Highway Code. We must all, motorists, cyclists, pedestrians, make the Highway Code a part of our lives. If people continue to break the Highway Code, then the big toll of more than 160,000 yearly accidents will also continue.
