1 Jan 1944

late July and August Weeklies Let's keep the kitchen cool and comfortable as much as we can this summer. A little planning, a cooking day at most three times a week, and the main meals will be settled. The size of your stove — and your family — influence your own particular plan, of course, but here is the general idea : THREE DINNERS from ONE cooking YOU COOK the meat, potatoes (and greens for the first day) and puddings all on the one day.
