This Advertisement will appear on Dec. 28th, 1941, in National & Provincial Sunday Newspapers Priority Supplies for Invalids The following diseases and illnesses are the only conditions for which special supplies of milk and eggs to invalids may be author- ised by a Medical Practitioner. The lists have been drawn up by the Ministry's medical advisers. MILK The quantity of milk allowed is at the dis- cretion of the doctor, subject to a scale prescribed by the Ministry. Active Tuberculosis of all types; Silicosis; Affection of the mouth, throat or gullet or organic nervous disorder causing interference with swallowing; Gastric, duodenal or anastomotic ulcer; Illness characterised by high and prolonged fever; Post-operative conditions after major operations; Illness of active workers, including domestic workers, temporarily incapacitating them from work.
