To make this lovely Almond Cake, you need: 21/2 oz. margarine; 3 oz. sugar; 2 level tablesp. dried eggs (dry); 4 tablesp. water; 8 oz. flour; 2 level teasp. baking powder; few drops almond essence. Milk to mix. Cream margarine and sugar, beat in dried egg (dry) and add 2 tablesp. water. Mix flour and baking powder and add with the flavouring, remaining water and sufficient milk to make a soft consistency.
