MINISTRY OF FOOD POTATO RESERVES FOR MAY, JUNE & JULY, 1944 The Ministry of Food will secure during the next few weeks adequate reserves on farms in Great Britain of potatoes for consumption in May, June and July, 1944. Growers should offer their best keeping potatoes immediately for this by the purpose. Contracts clamp at a valuation. can be made either per ton or TONNAGE CONTRACTS provide for 15/per ton above May, 1944, Fixed Growers' Price for deliveries 1st-17th June, 1944, a further 10/per ton for deliveries 18th June -8th July, and another 10/per ton for deliveries thereafter.
