MINISTRY OF FOOD URGENT NOTICE TO FARMERS AND THE REASONS I. WHY 12 DAYS' NOTICE The Ministry of Food have to collect particulars of all the entries and to allocate supplies from areas with a surplus to those with a deficiency. Arrangements have then to be made for allocation within the areas, for transport, and for the required issues of imported meat, and the necessary instruc- tions have to reach their destinations in ample time. This cannot be done under 12 days. 3. WHY ENTRIES MUST BE ADHERED TO Where deliveries are below entries, two results follow directly.
