This advertisement will appear in the October and November Popular and Women's Weeklies. About this time last year doctors were expecting there would be a lot more illness than usual. But it just didn't happen. This is a tribute to the way in which you fed your families. To a great extent, too, it was due to the good, plain home-grown foods that we had to fall back upon. And here they are again—health-protecting carrots; our old friend, the warming, satisfying potato; green and root vegetables in abundance.
