This advertisement will appear January 25th, 1942, in on National & Provincial Sunday Newspapers Prices of DRIED FRUITS Up to now dried fruits have been available at the rate of about 6 oz. a head a month—which has meant a bigger as well as a wider distribu- tion than pre-war. Dried fruits won't be quite so plentiful from now on because of the extension of the war. From to-morrow, January 26th, dried fruits will be classified into 3 groups with a maximum price for each group, so that you will be able to buy what there is at really reasonable prices throughout the United Kingdom.
