MILK POLICY MEMORANDUM BY THE MINISTRY OF FOOD. 1. It is necessary to obtain an urgent decision regarding Milk Policy. The existing contracts between Milk Producers, Milk Distributors and the Milk Marketing Board for England and Wales come to an end on the 51st March. New contracts for England and Wales must be signed before that date embodying the conditions which will operate from the 1st April next. The new prices in these contracts can be made applicable to Scotland by agreement, and this will have to be done.
