The JIC members discussed a vast range of international and domestic issues in their meetings. In this file, subjects documented include Allied intelligence gathering, processing, and distribution during the Pacific War; the different areas of responsibility and chains of command for the British, American, and Commonwealth intelligence services; relations between the Allied military hierarchy and intelligence services; and planned intelligence organisation after the end of the Second World War.
