I have just had an interview with the Officer commanding Spanish troops of occupation. Colonel Yuste gave me the following information which he asked me to treat as a purely personal expression of opinion. 2. Two groups of Spanish Artillery with Spanish personnel (not moors) had been brought into the zone yesterday and last night as a purely defensive measure. 3. There were some 28 pieces 77 centimetre calibre and some larger ones, also some anti-aircraft guns.
