(d) There is no evidence of any intended concentration of aircraft in Norway which would suggest the imminence of an attack on the Orkneys and Shetlands. We should expect to receive from one month's to six weeks notice of any concentration for this purpose, on the scale suggested in the appreciation. (e) There are no parachute or glider troops in Norway. There are three mountain divisions, which are suitable for employment as air-borne troops, in Norway and Finland. Two are in Finnish Lapland and one is at Kirkenes.
