Charter for the Mid-Asiatic Bureau. Note by the Secretary

6. The Bureau will work in closest touch with the A.O.C.-in-C. Middle East Forces and with the Combined Intelligence Centre in Iraq in order to ensure co-ordination between activities organised in Iraq and those of the Bureau. The Head of the Combined Intelligence Centre Iraq will thus provide the liaison link between the Bureau and Headquarters British Forces in Iraq. The establishment of the Bureau does not affect the tasks or Charter of the Middle East Intelligence Centre which will continue to receive and distribute information as at present.
