4 GERMAN WITHDRAWAL FROM THE BALKANS (Estimate by J.I.C., Algiers) THE SUB-COMMITTEE had before them a Note by the Secretary (J.I.C.(44) 312 (0)) covering the above report dated 11th July, 1944. THE DIRECTOR OF MILITARY INTELLIGENCE said that he had a few small comments which he would hand to the Secretary. THE SUB-COMMITTEE:Agreed generally with the report, subject to the comments of the Director of Military Intelligence, and instructed the Secretary to pass these to J.I.C. Algiers. 5.
