4 GERMAN WITHDRAWAL FROM THE BALKANS (Estimate by J.I.C., Algiers) THE SUB-COMMITTEE had before them a Note by the Secretary (J.I.C.(44) 312 (0)) covering the above report dated 11th July, 1944. THE DIRECTOR OF MILITARY INTELLIGENCE said that he had a few small comments which he would hand to the Secretary. THE SUB-COMMITTEE:Agreed generally with the report, subject to the comments of the Director of Military Intelligence, and instructed the Secretary to pass these to J.I.C. Algiers. 5. VALUE OF SUMATRAN OIL SUPPLIES TO THE ENEMY (Report by the Director of Intelligence, S.E.A.C.) THE SUB-COMMITTEE had before them a note by the Secretary, (J.I.C.(44) 309 (0)) covering the above report dated the 16th June, 1944.
