(a) Agreed that all the Departments represented should to find their quota, which should be agreed subsequently, of the personnel required for the Secretariat, but that the establishment should be carried by one, or at the most two, Departments. (b) Invited the War Office to maintain the existing establishment. (c) Invited the Board of Trade, after consultation with Buss, to approach the Treasury with the proposal that sanction should be given for the Board of Trade to carry an establishment for the additional Secretariat required.
