PROVISION OF TOPOGRAPHICAL INTELLIGENCE. There was a general discussion on this item during the course of which the Director of Naval Intelligence explained the working of the Topographical Section at Oxford. THE SUB-COMMITTEE (i) took note of the work being carried out by the Topographical Section at Oxford. (ii) agreed that the organisation for the provision of topographical intelligence to all (customers) would need to be further developed on inter-service lines. (iii) agreed that this matter be taken up by the Joint Intelligence Sub-Committee.
