and Madagascar. It was not proposed, for the time being, that production of hand books should be attempted in the Union. Information collected would be forwarded to London for that purpose. Some attempt, might, however be made in the Union to collate information for the information of the Chiefs of Staff there. At a later date it might be proposed that the Union should extend its activities to the production of handbooks. In that event, and probably in any case, the Union might request assistance in the way of trained personnel.
