Documents include a report on the foreign intentions of the U.S.S.R., including speculation that they would shortly attack Turkey and invade Iraq and Persia; two reports assessing the strength of anti-Soviet resistance movements in the U.S.S.R., with recommendation for Western actions to support this, including the proposal that they be given nuclear weapons; a report on conditions in the U.S.S.R. and anti-regime feeling, also with recommendations for Western action; a report recommending the commencement of British intelligence operations within the U.S.S.R., including proposals for recruitment of agent; and a series of memos on the placing of an officer in the British embassy in Moscow to facilitate communication with intelligence agents.
