SCALE AND NATURE OF RAIDS ON THE UNITED KINGDOM THE COMMITTEE had before them a minute+ by the Secretary reporting the comments of the Chiefs of Staff on the Joint Intelligence Committee reportø on the above subject. The Chiefs of Staff had instructed the Committee to rewrite the report in the light of their criticisms. THE CHAIRMAN said that he had been disturbed to learn that, at the Chiefs of Staff discussion, the Admiralty and War Office representatives had both indicated that their intelligence briefs had not supported the paper.
