THE COMMITTEE had before them a minute by the Secretary○ covering memoranda by the Foreign Office and the U.K. Deputy High Commissioner in Germany on the subject of German security, and a letter from the Secretary, Joint Intelligence Committee, Germany, inviting the Joint Intelligence Committee to consider the proposal that the Standing Group Security Coordinating Committee should pay a further visit to Bonn to check on the action taken by the German Government towards implementing the recommendations made by the Standing Group Committee as a result of their previous visit.
