Security Examination of British Information Submitted to the Military Committee Set Up under the Brussels Treaty. Note by the Secretary

1 May 1948

ANNEX SECURITY EXAMINATION OF BRITISH INFORMATION SUBMITTED TO THE MILITARY COMMITTEE SET UP UNDER THE BRUSSELS TREATY. Report by the Security Sub-Committee. In anticipation of instructions, we have considered the means whereby papers passed by the Chiefs of Staff Committee, the Joint Staffs or by Departments to the U.K. representatives on the Military Committee set up under the Burssels Treaty, may be given prior security examination so as to ensure that no information, which it is intended that the other countries should not have, is passed to them.
