1. PRIORITIES OF TASKS FOR THE COLLECTION OF INTELLIGENCE INFORMATION IN GERMANY. (Previous Reference: J.I.C.(48) 56th Meeting (0), Minutes 2 and 3). THE COMMITTEE had before them a Minute+ by the Secretary covering a copy of a letterx from the Secretary, Joint Intelligence Committee, (Germany), pointing out that confusion seemed to have arisen between "lists of tasks" for the collection of intelligence in Germany and "lists of indications" of a certain Power's preparedness for war, and proposing that the Joint Intelligence Committee (Germany) should review:(a) Indications of a certain Power's intentions to make war at three weekly intervals, and (b) Priorities of tasks for the collection of intelligence information in Germany at quarterly intervals.
