A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on West Europe: of the 2nd Division's front line; and the 3rd Parachute Division's main defence line, on June 17; and that the Germans are unlikely to hold the Allies north of St Lo because of the slight fighting strength of the remainder of the 352nd Infantry Division, on June 17; on South Europe: that the I Parachute Corps is withdrawing to the Lake Trasimene area, on June 16; and that the 14th Army resubordinates elements of the 3rd Panzer Grenadier Division to the 14th Panzer Corps, on June 14.
