This file includes the following reports on South Europe: that the Hermann Goering Division is to withdraw, on October 27; of the 2nd Air Fleet's reconnaissance orders for October 28 and a report for October 27; a report for the 76th Panzer Corps' area, on October 27; a 14th Panzer Corps report, for October 27; that Hitler orders the reoccupation of Pianosa, and that the Italians are to be dislodged from Capraia, on October 27; that the German Minister for Armament and War Production takes over the Italian armament industry, on October 27; and of British generals being in Italian hands, on October 26; on South-east Europe: the German 15th Mountain Corps reports the loss of Sanski with the heavy loss of men, on October 21; on West Europe: of a German Air Force (GAF) fighter unit being identified in France, on October 27; on the Southern Russian Front: of continued enemy attacks, on October 20; and that vessels are to arrive at Sevastopol by October 29 for a special operation.
