This file includes the following reports on Southern Europe: of a German Navy in Italy directive ordering all Naval units and merchant shipping in the area south of Gaeta to be sailed northwards, on September 8; a German naval report of Allied landings at Pizzo and Cape Suvero on September 8; and the German Rearguard Regiment reports Rosarno to be occupied by the Allies, on September 7; and Naval Headlines of September 8, covering three German minesweepers being sunk by torpedo off of Fecamp.
