A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: a BONIFACE summary from Brigadier Hollis for the Prime Minister (PM); and a SUNSET intelligence report; on South Europe: that the German Air Force (GAF) are unable to attack artillery because their operations are to be directed against shipping, on August 29; and on German contingency planning in the event of an Allied landing in southern Italy, on August 18.
