This file includes the following reports on South Europe: of the 2nd Air Wing's intentions for February 1; and of the 14th Army's order of the day - a summary only, T79/39 is not included; on South-east Europe: that German Air Force (GAF) command has no forces for an attack on Castelorizo; and of a Spitfire attack on Corfu, on January 29; on the Southern Russian Front: an evening report from Army Group A, for January 28; T80/59 was sent to the Director of Military Intelligence (DMI) under 5540 (not included in this series); on Germany: of the morale and internal conditions there, as of December 30; and a message from Brigadier-General T J Betts to Brigadier Sir Stewart Menzies, returning a report with General Eisenhower's thanks, on January 29.
