Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: of the Allies attacking in the Guettar valley, on April 3; the German Africa Corps' evening report for April 3; and that the 10th Panzer Division is strained to the limit of its endurance; on the Southern Russian Front: of continuous attacks by Soviet divisions in Kuban, on April 4; and from the Argentinian ambassador in Madrid, on the Roumanian minister's pessimism about the Russian Front, and a suggestion of German peace soundings, on March 31.
