A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: that Kesselring is concerned over the slowness of movements and instructs units to be at six hours' notice for movement; that the 10th Air Corps provided air cover for a damaged U-boat, but was withdrawn when the U-boat was sunk by the crew; on Fliegerfuehrer Africa intentions for June 3, to include fighter protection for the German Africa Corps, with instructions not to attack Acroma or Via Balbia; on the situation in the western Mediterranean, and instructions from Kesselring's headquarters for an attack on an Allied aircraft carrier formation; and that Panzer Army Africa successes include the capture of 3000 prisoners and the commander of the 1st Army Tank Brigade, on June 1.
