Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: intelligence on German requirements in North Africa for maps of Tobruk and of fortifications and essential services as far as the Suez Canal; on the movement of German Air Force (GAF) bomber and dive bomber units to the Russian Front; an amendment to a previous report on the Mediterranean; a GAF reconnaissance report of a British fleet off Norway on March 9; and a German report from Tokyo of Japanese successes and intentions on March 9.
