Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on North Africa: the German Naval Command are at Tripoli, on March 23; on German Air Force (GAF) operations and intentions for March 22; a further GAF report on reconnaissance and operations for March 22; and that the GAF are to search for a missing Ju88 on March 23; on the Mediterranean: a German report that Italian Air Force torpedo aircraft are to attack a convoy on March 22; that the GAF claim the sinking of ships in the Malta convoy on March 22; the GAF report attacks on Malta for March 21; a further GAF report of attacks on Malta on March 21; and op orders by GAF AOC (Air Officer Commanding) in Chief South on March 23; and on Sweden: that the GAF are plotting the course of Swedish courier aircraft.
