Government Code and Cypher School: Signals Intelligence Passed to the Prime Minister, Messages and Correspondence

A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports: that the Japanese ambassador in Berlin has arranged the signing of the Three Power Pact on December 11; that amendments to the treaty were sent from Tokyo to the ambassador in Berlin on December 9; and a report from the Japanese minister in Santiago on an interview with the Chilean Foreign Minister and his fear of Anglo-U.S. machinations on December 1.
