A file of correspondence and reports concerning the activities of German expellee and refugee organisations. Subjects covered in the file include concerns over an agreement formulated between the Social Democratic Party of Germany (S.P.D.) and the Sudetendeutsche Landsmannschaft; a rally of Sudeten Germans in Cologne; and the activities of groups representing Silesia, East Prussia, and Pomerania. Further correspondence covers the participation of West German government representatives in the "Tag Der Heimat" rally in West Berlin, amid concerns it may be used for propaganda purposes; a paper on the history of and German territorial claims to land beyond the Oder-Neisse line; and a Bundestag Foreign Affairs Committee report on German communities in Eastern Europe and the Soviet Union since 1939.
