Subjects covered in the file include the claims of British workers involved in erecting the Bartrav Chipboard Plant at Jihlava, that factories in the area have seen a number of fires thought to be the result of sabotage; and press reports on the arrest of arsonists involved in the factory fires, and that of an arsonist who started fires at a cooperative farm. The file also includes an article published in an information bulletin titled "Political, Economic, and Cultural trends in Captive Czechoslovakia", which discusses a Rudé Právo report on an increase in the number of deliberate fires.
