A file of correspondence on the case of a Swiss citizen who owned securities which had been held in the Polish national bank before the Second World War. The British Treasury noted that while some of the bank's gold had been held in London during the war, it had been returned to Poland more than ten years previously, and that the Swiss citizen should approach the current Polish national bank, which was the legal successor of the pre-war institution.
