The documents contain a series of reports on Soviet foreign policy dating from mid-April to mid-May 1950; a paper on the relations between the Western Powers and the Soviet Union; a memorandum concerning views on relations with the Soviet Union expressed by an American source; and a general monthly report on the trends of communist propaganda spanning March 22–April 12, 1950, referring to communist activities being held under the guise of a "Peace Campaign". Other documents discuss a second monthly report on the trends of communist propaganda spanning April 13–May 3, 1950; Ukrainian and Baltic language radio broadcasts; and a revised edition of a paper on "Foreign Policy through the Looking Glass", reviewing the policy of the Western Powers towards the Soviet Union since 1939 and assessing the present objectives of Soviet foreign policy.
