Other topics addressed include the health benefits of National Wheatmeal Bread; campaigns to encourage retailers and caterers to sell more of particular types of food of which the supply is plentiful; the need to eat home-grown food to save shipping space; the government's purchase of reserve stocks of cod from Iceland, and a subsequent drive to encourage their consumption; nutritional information about certain kinds of foodstuffs; and tips for retailers to stay patient with their customers.
