5. Sales would have to be regulated in conjunction with those of new furniture in order to hold the market steady, and the Ministry of Works would keep in touch with the Board of Trade to relate prices with those authorised for utility furniture. 6. The principle of disposing of surplus furniture through the Ministry of Works will involve the co-operation of Service and Civil Departments in handing over for disposal all surplus articles. 7. We shall be glad to have approval to proceed on the above lines.
