A file of correspondence concerning the purchase and production of rubber in the Soviet Union. The documents include correspondence from J.W.A. Calver, the chairman of a rubber plantation in Malaya, who is travelling to the Soviet Union with other businessmen to sell latex; and information on the difficulties facing Soviet producers of synthetic rubber, who appear to have run into problems when attempting to produce butyl.
