German Democratic Republic (GDR): Visits between the German Democratic Republic and UK

A file of correspondence and reports concerning notable visits between East Germany and the United Kingdom. The documents cover a trip to East Germany by a group of British veterinary experts, who visited animal-breeding and research centres; a visit to East Germany by a British academic specialising in urban planning; and a visit to East Germany by representatives of the East European Trade Council, for talks at the East German foreign trade ministry and with business leaders and bankers.
