Other subjects discussed in the file include the consistent condemnation of Soviet human rights abuses by the British government; the persecution of Soviet human rights activists; the Soviet denial of religious and cultural freedoms; refusals to grant exit visas; and the claim of religious freedom in the Soviet constitution.
