The file also covers invitations issued to members of the British Trades Union Congress (T.U.C.) to visit the Soviet Union; a T.U.C. invitation extended to the Soviet politician Aleksandr Shelepin; and a Soviet article on British-Soviet trade union relations. Further correspondence covers a visit to the Soviet Union by representatives of the National Association of Card, Blowing and Ring Room Operatives; and a visit of Soviet trade unionists to the Welsh Office.
